Suit fitting scheduled
Total Team Wares will be at the Lakeside Pool on Tuesday, September 30, from 5 PM to 7 PM to do a suit fitting. They will bring suits for the swimmers to try on so you can order the correct size. They will need payment when you order your suit. This is the only time they will come to us. The female suits are around $47 and the male suits are around $32. If there is anything else you would like to purchase from them (i.e. goggles, fins, bags, warm ups) let Coach Carole know and she will have them bring it. Any one swimming in a meet needs to have a team suit. Our suits are navy blue with the Celebration Splash logo imprinted on them.

New website is up and running

Our new web site is www.celebrationsplash.org.  We are still working on the Parent Info area and hope to have it finished soon.  On the web site you can find things like Team Records, Swimmer of the Week (current and past), apparel order form, meet entries and meet results.  NEW! You can sign up for meets on line.

Get Rowdy and Race Recap:

Danny Kalaw, Connor Kelley, Zoe Morgan, Niki Patten, Victoria and Alejandro Rodriguez and Nastia and Sasha Siperko all attended the Get Rowdy and Race meet in Winter Haven over the weekend.  We had eleven team records broken at this meet.  Great job swimmers!  Current team records can be found on the Celebration Splash web site.

 October Swim Meets

Elizabeth Kazeck Fall Invitational @ Lake Highland Prep:

Meet dates:  Saturday, October 4 and Sunday, October 5

Lake Highland Prep is located near downtown Orlando.  This is a timed finals meet.  A map to the pool can be found on the Celebration Splash web site.

Warm up (Saturday and Sunday):

10 and under: 7:30 am

11 and older: 11:30 am

Meet entries are available on the Celebration Splash web site.

Central Florida Marlins:

Meet dates: Friday, October 17 – Sunday, October 19

This meet is at the Newton A. Perry Aquatic Center at the Central Florida Community College Ocala Campus. 

This is a timed final meet.  Friday night is the distance free and IM events.  On Saturday and Sunday swimmers 11 and older swim in the morning and swimmers 10 and younger swim in the afternoon.

Entry deadline:  Friday, October 3.

If you need a hotel, I recommend the Country Inn & Suites at 3720 SW College Rd.  We stayed at this hotel last year and it was very nice.  Right now you can get a good deal through expida.com or hotels.com.

2009 USA Swimming Registration

It is time to register your swimmer for the 2009 calendar year.  Watch your mail in the coming weeks for more information.

New Team Apparel

We are placing an order for our new team shirts on Tuesday, Sept. 30.  I have attached a list with swimmers shirt sizes.  Please check that we have the correct shirt size for your swimmer.  As part of the registration fee, each swimmer will receive one shirt in the size we have on file.  If you would like to order additional shirts, for your swimmer or yourself, please email me the size and quantity you would like.  Any additional shirt orders will be added to your monthly bill.  The cost should be around $8 per shirt.  We will not be doing a reorder so this is your chance to get yourself a shirt. 

We will be placing orders for team hoodies soon.   With cooler weather on its way, you might want to order one for your swimmer.   The team hoodie will have a zipper front and have the team logo on the breast.
